Day 1
We are delighted to have you join us for an unforgettable journey. Your day will begin with breakfast at your riad or hotel, where our driver will meet you in the hotel lobby. From there, we will embark on a comfortable drive in a 4×4 vehicle to commence our adventure.
Our route will take us through the breathtaking High Atlas Mountains, one of the largest mountain ranges in North Africa. The highest peak in this range reaches approximately 2,260 meters, and as we ascend, you will be treated to stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
As we continue our journey, we will pass through the city of Ouarzazate, where we will pause for lunch in front of the historic Taourirt Kasbah, which dates back to 1754.
Following lunch, we will proceed to cross the Anti-Atlas Mountains, situated between Ouarzazate and our destination, Zagora. At an elevation of 2,500 meters, we will enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive, taking in the magnificent vistas of the mountains.
In the evening, our camp will be ready to welcome us with refreshing mint tea and an opportunity for a camel ride as we watch the sun set over the horizon.
Dinner will be served at the camp under a canopy of stars, providing the perfectif conclusion to a remarquable Day.
Day 2
In the morning, we will begin our day by witnessing a stunning sunrise in a serene atmosphere, accompanied by a traditional Moroccan breakfast. Following this peaceful start, our driver will meet you to transport you back to Marrakech, retracing our route but with additional stops along the way.
We will enjoy lunch at the historic Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, which dates back to the 11th century. A local guide will be on hand to provide insights into the construction and history of this remarkable site. After the guided tour, we will savor lunch while taking in the beautiful views of the kasbah.
The remainder of our journey back to Marrakech will take us through the picturesque Valley of Almonds and the quaint town of Telouet. This alternative route will immerse you in the heart of the High Atlas Mountains, offering breathtaking scenery. Our driver will be flexible and happy to make stops along the way for photographs, ensuring you capture the beauty of this remarkable landscape.
