Prices

Day Tours: Prices are given at the bottom of each day trip with an indication of what is included/not included. These prices are valid until 31st December 2024 and are indicated in dollars. Day Tour prices are always given per person and according to the number in the group: 1, 2, 3. Please contact us for a quote for parties larger than 3. We will invoice you for the full amount 45 days prior to the tour date. If the tour is occurring in less than 30 days full payment will be required. 

Multiday Tours: Prices for multi-day tours are given after a discussion with a Genuine Morocco representative, and your approval of the itinerary. After we confirm your tour to you in writing, we ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost. There is a 25% reduction for children under 12 years. There is a 50% reduction for children under 12 years old sharing a room with 2 adults (parents) with a maximum of 1 child per family. We do not charge for children under 5, with a maximum of 1 child for each family.

Reservations

Booking a tour with Genuine Morocco can be made via phone, using our contact form or by email. 

Deposit

After we confirm your tour to you in writing, we ask you to pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total tour cost. Deposit payments can be made by electronic bank transfer or by credit card via Stripe on our website. Details of how to pay the deposit will be sent to you in writing when we confirm availability. All the bookings are secured after we receive the initial deposit. For short-notice bookings, we require a good faith deposit. For group bookings (parties larger than 6), different booking terms will apply and we will notify you of these in writing at the time of booking.

Payment

For multiday tours, the final balance is due 30 days prior to your trip. The balance can be made by electronic bank transfer or by credit card via Stripe on our website. Details of how to pay the balance will be sent to you in writing at the time of payment.

Cancellation by client

You must notify us in writing by email should you wish to cancel a tour. Send email to info@genuinemorocco.com.  Cancellation is effective on the date we receive your notification. The following charges are applicable upon cancellation:

  • After deposit and prior to 30 days, 25% of the deposit will be retained.
  • Between 30 days and 15 days prior to arrival , 50% of cost will be retained.
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before arrival the payment is non-refundable.

Cancellation/alteration by us

Due to the nature of our tours, certain situations (adverse weather conditions for example) may mean that we will need to make changes to the expected itinerary of your chosen tour. If this is the case, we will advise you as soon as we become aware of any such situation. We will do everything in our power to keep the tour as close to the original itinerary as possible. In some cases, however, we may be forced to cancel the tour for reasons beyond our control “force majeure”. If this is the case, you will be entitled to a full refund minus any costs already incurred by us. If we cancel a tour for any reason other than force majeure, you will receive a full refund from us. No further compensation will be payable by us.

Accommodation

Accommodations can vary in quality according to local standards in Morocco and should be judged accordingly. We will discuss with you the various options and ratings for accommodations. Hotels, riads, and guesthouses are booked according to availability. Your requests will be filled whenever possible. Where possible, we’ll inform you of a variety of choices, including upgrades requiring an additional fee.

Special Requests

Please inform us at the time of booking about any special requirements you may have such as dietary requirements, king-sized beds according to your height, and so on. We will do our best to meet these requirements as far as they are available in Morocco, but they cannot be guaranteed.

Your Responsibilities

Travel Insurance

You must be adequately covered by comprehensive travel insurance which must include coverage for medical emergencies and the cost of rescue/evacuation where necessary. It is your responsibility to check that any adventure sports/activities (including but not limited to camel trekking, horse riding, quad biking and watersports) that you will try on your tour are covered by your policy.

Flights

Your air travel will be booked independently of any booking with us. We have no involvement and accept no liability for this element of your tour and it is your responsibility to familiarize yourself with the terms and conditions of your air travel provider.

Illness and/or Disability

Please notify us in writing in advance of the tour regarding any illness and/or disability that may affect your ability to take part in your chosen tour. You will need to provide proof of your COVID-19 vaccination. Bring your COVID documentation.

Personal Property

You are responsible for all personal property & travel documentation during the tour and we accept no liability whatsoever in this regard.

Complaints

If you have any complaint about any of the tour arrangements, you must bring it to our attention at the time so that we may use all reasonable endeavours to rectify the situation. Failure to complain at the time will affect any further claim you make against us.

Should the problem remain unsolved, a complaint must be made in writing to us within a reasonable period of not more than 4 weeks after the completion of the tour.

You accept and agree that you have read the above terms and conditions (a copy of which will also be sent on the confirmation of your booking) and agree to be bound by them.
