Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech to Tinghir

Your journey will begin after breakfast at your riad or hotel, where our driver will meet you in the lobby. From there, we’ll embark on a scenic drive through the majestic High Atlas Mountains. Our first stop will be at a panoramic viewpoint, offering stunning vistas of the entire Atlas range from an altitude of 2,260 meters. After enjoying the breathtaking scenery, we will descend through the Agouim Valley.

En route, we’ll visit one of the most historic kasbahs in southern Morocco, the 11th-century Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou. Here, you will meet a local guide for a one-hour tour, exploring the rich history and architecture of this UNESCO World Heritage site. Following the tour, you’ll have lunch at a restaurant that offers panoramic views of the kasbah.

After lunch, we will continue our journey to Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Africa” and a major hub for international filmmaking. Passing by the serene Ouarzazate Lake, we’ll travel through the picturesque Skoura Valley, the gateway to the famous Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs. This region, a blend of three valleys—Skoura, Dades, and Rose—boasts some of the most beautiful landscapes in the south of Morocco.

Our final destination for the day will be the Todgha Valley, where you’ll spend the night at a charming riad, resting in the tranquility of this stunning area.

Day 2

Tinguir to Merzouga

In the early morning, following breakfast, we will depart for Merzouga, with an exciting journey full of activities ahead. Our first stop will be the breathtaking Todgha Gorge, where you’ll have free time to explore the stunning surroundings and witness the adventurous climbers scaling the massive cliffs.

We will then continue to a small town along the way, where we’ll stop for lunch. You will enjoy a traditional Moroccan meal, featuring a flavorful tagine and a fresh Moroccan salad.

Afterward, we’ll drive to Erfoud, known as the “City of Fossils” and the final town before reaching the Sahara. Here, we will take a one-hour break to explore the fascinating fossil workshops, where you’ll learn how these ancient treasures are processed before being sold.

Following this visit, we’ll head to Merzouga, just 30 minutes away, where the magic of the desert awaits. In the arrival time you will enjoy a horse of camel riding to the camp, where you’ll spend the night under the stars, enjoying a bonfire, accompanied by Berber music and dancing.

Relax and savor a peaceful night in a traditional Berber tent, under the vast, starry desert sky.

Day 3

Merzouga to Marrakech

Early this morning, we’ll begin the day by witnessing a breathtaking sunrise from the top of the dunes, followed by breakfast at the camp. Afterward, you’ll have the option of either riding a camel to meet our driver or returning by car for a brief 10-minute drive to the meeting point.

From there, we will embark on a return journey to Marrakech, taking a completely different route from the one we traveled before. Lunch will be enjoyed amidst the scenic mountains of the Anti-Atlas. Afterward, we will pass through Ouarzazate once again before crossing the High Atlas Mountains on our way back to Marrakech.

Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or riad for an overnight stay.
