Itinerary

Atlas Mountains and Four Valleys Private Day Trip

Your journey begins with an 8:30 AM pickup from your accommodation in Marrakech. Then, enjoy a scenic 45-minute drive through olive groves, meadows, and ancient Berber villages before reaching Tnine Ourika.

In addition, every Monday, this village hosts a vibrant weekly market. This market draws people from all over the surrounding areas. For example, fruit orchards and vegetable terraces line the area, along with homes built on steep hillsides. The Berbers’ dedication to constructing these villages is truly inspiring.

Finally, after lunch, walk back to the village center to meet your driver. Your return journey includes a scenic drive through the Kik Plateau. This drive offers unquestionably breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and the Agafay Desert. In essence, this is an ideal time to relax, reflect, and soak in the landscape. Above all, as you head back to Marrakech, you will be filled with unforgettable memories.

What to Wear & Bring

Morocco is a welcoming and relaxed country, and visitors generally wear whatever makes them feel comfortable. There is no strict dress code for tourists. We simply recommend comfortable, respectful clothing, especially when visiting religious sites or traditional villages. Lightweight clothes are ideal in summer, while a light jacket is useful for cooler evenings and desert areas. Swimwear is perfectly acceptable at hotel pools and beaches.

Our advice is to dress for comfort and the weather, just as you would when traveling to many other destinations around the world.

Essential items:

  • Sunscreen and sunglasses
  • Comfortable walking shoes
  • Camera/phone charger
  • Personal water bottle
  • Small backpack or bag
  • Any personal medications
