While here, visit Taourirt and Tifoultout Kasbahs, both considered among the most beautiful in Morocco. Additionally, continue to explore the film studios where some of the most famous desert landscapes were—and still are—being shot. Day 10
After breakfast at the hotel, begin your day by visiting some of the most beautiful palaces and monuments in Marrakech. First, stop at Badiaa Palace, built in the late 19th century. Then, continue your visit with a stop at the Koutoubia Mosque. Later, drive to the stunning Jardin Majorelle, a garden gifted to Marrakech by Yves Saint Laurent. In 1966, Saint Laurent and his partner Pierre Bergé bought the electric-blue villa and its garden to preserve the vision of its original owner, landscape painter Jacques Majorelle. The garden, cultivated since 1924, is now home to over 300 plant species from five continents, thanks to Marrakshi ethnobotanist Abderrazak Benchaâbane. Additionally, the garden houses the Berber Museum, which showcases a small yet spectacular collection of authentic Moroccan garments, weapons, and jewelry dating back to the 19th century and earlier.
After enjoying lunch at a local restaurant in the medina (at your own expense), embark on a guided stroll through the labyrinth of narrow streets in the medina. Along the way, visit the famous souks, where vendors sell everything from leather goods and clothing to exotic spices.
At 3:30 PM, an exceptional gastronomic experience awaits you. A renowned chef will guide you through the rich food culture of North Africa. First, join him as he picks out fresh produce in the souks. Then, dive into a hands-on cooking session where you’ll gain an insider’s perspective on Moroccan cuisine. Finally, enjoy a delicious dinner featuring the dishes you helped prepare. Afterward, return to your hotel for some free time and overnight stay.
